Becky Burdon Dip HypBecky is passionate about living life to the full and helping other people to do the same. Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool that can change lives. Becky believes in treating the whole person and that treatment should be tailored to the individual. She is an imaginative, creative and caring therapist with a calm and relaxing manner, providing a safe and reassuring environment for her clients.

Becky had CFS/ME for 12 years before doing the Lightning Process, which uses hypnotherapy and NLP among other techniques, to make a full recovery. Therefore, she knows the power of hypnotherapy first hand. Mindfulness techniques were also instrumental in her recovery.

Becky trained with Chrysalis in Hypnotherapy, obtaining a distinction. She is also a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. She is a fully trained Mindfulness Teacher, having trained with Bangor University in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and integrates this approach in both her life and work. Due to this background Becky is excellent at working with people to combat stress and anxiety.

As part of her holistic approach to health and well-being Becky is keen to help other people achieve success in their professional and personal life; to be the best they can be. Becky says:

I want to help people unlock the potential they already have within themselves, in whatever area they need support in, perhaps business success, sports performance, self-esteem or weight loss.

Becky relates well to children and her background in Primary Teaching makes her ideally placed to work with children and young people. She has worked with children from birth to 16. Becky says:

I am committed to helping children to manage their emotions in order to grow into healthy and well-balanced adults.

Becky lives in the Holme Valley, West Yorkshire, with her husband Jon, and two daughters.
